Are these Upcycled Medical Clothings made from crowdsourced waste plastic?
Yes! The Upcycled Medical Clothing company endeavors to genuinely reduce the problem of plastic waste dumped in our oceans and seas. We therefore collaborate with waste collection units and social organisations in collecting plastic waste, which we then use to convert into yarn. Our processes are transparent and we are certified by the world's top organisation in fabric testing to regulate harmful substances.
How is your Upcycled Medical fabric made?
After gathering all the waste bottles and plastic sourced from collection points, and segregating them into different categories, they are sent to their processing centres. PET plastic is the main category of plastic. After sorting, cleaning & flattening the plastic, and separating their bottles and labels, they are shredded into tiny pellets, washed again and shipped to our manufacturing facility. Every bag is weighed to ensure the input of waste plastic is calculated against the material yarn that is produced. Post this once again the pellets are melted and extruded into long spaghetti like yarn, spun into bobbins and sent for knitting and stitching into fabric.

Are your garments free size?
We have garments such as lab coats, doctor's coats and gowns in free sizes. They can also be customized to your specifications. We are constantly taking your feedback to improve the cut, size and fit of our garments.
How do I order for these products?
You can check our product collection catalogue and write to us about your requirement including details such as fit, color, size and specifications. Details on customisation such as logo and lettering can also be conveyed, including the quantity of the products you wish to order. We will get back to you at the earliest for confirmation.

When will my order arrive?
In order to reduce our carbon footprint, we keep orders in a holding facility close to cities and they will be shipped within 1-5 business days of the date of order. Upon shipping, you will receive an email with confirmation date and tracking details.
WHAT DO I DO FOR EDITS OR CHANGES TO THE ORDER PLACED?
Once your order is placed, we speak to you to confirm it. We cannot make any changes thereafter including item changes, address or customisation changes. Please confirm all these details before placing your order.
